My project consists of the basic tools my bilingual students will need in order to continue to learn from home. By sending these essential tools which include markers, glue, construction paper, and some manipulatives will further their learning development in preparation for when they enter kindergarten. Increasing parent/involvement with their children by giving them essential and basic tools. The materials I have chosen are so that students can continue to learn their letters by using cookie cutters and play-doh, including glue sticks and scissors for cutting and pasting paper letters and numbers onto paper this will also assist in expanding their motor skills and hand coordination as well as the markers. These bilingual students will be able to reflect on the skills that we use daily, our bilingual students (citizens) and they will experience the real world in the safe environment of their homes.
