Flexible seating makes students feel comfortable in their class community. Due to covid and the endless restrictions, it is even more important to me to make this happen. Providing them with different options will help them transition smoother to the different situations that will be occurring in the classroom. Flexible seating provides them with choices when completing their work, which in turn drives their motivation. Motivation is a key factor for the students to succeed. It is also great way to promote collaboration. Students get excited to choose their seating choice and get started on their task.
