Imagine being out of school for weeks while everyone is "social distancing" and you receive a package from your teacher telling you she has some wonderful new adventures for you to explore. As you open the envelope new books spill out chosen specifically for you! Even the most reluctant reader will grab a book and begin reading! Receiving books to read at home will motivate and excite my students, as well as remind them that their teachers and schools are here for them even during this challenging time. Daily reading practice at home will help my students maintain and continue their literacy development.
