“Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.” -Benjamin Franklin These resources will help my students to learn important science and engineering concepts. I have three different classes of third graders who rotate into my room daily. Receiving these resources will help 65 third graders to engage in STEM activities, learn problem solving skills, and become intrinsically motivated to become lifelong learners. Our state has adopted a new science curriculum and these materials are needed for our new standards. One of the concepts we are learning this year is magnetism. We don't currently have any magnets for the students to use. Your donation would help my students to experience magnets in a hands on way. We will also be tracking weather and climate- the Weather Center will help us to get this data locally. The ant farm will help us to learn about animals and how they survive in their habitats. Thank you in advance for helping our third graders to learn important these important concepts.
