This year our schools' theme is NASA; soaring fearlessly with excellence. Our number one goal is student achievement and I want all of Wilmer Hutchins Elementary School’s students to be excited about soaring fearlessly to the next level. To help them personalize this I will be engaging all the students during the art class in a collaborative mural project that will be displayed at the front of the school. Each student, kinder through fifth will have a different part to paint and in the end, will be able to see how everyone’s efforts come together to make something beautiful. My hope is that this project will make the students proud of their school and excited to learn.
