My students start out their musical journey in my classroom. Most of them are trying out new sounds they can make on their chosen instrument for the first time! But what do I practice at home? Many of my beginning students can't think of what they should be doing at home with their newfound talent. Learning to read the notes that I ask them to play in class can also be a challenge if they don't have the resources at home to continue learning. With these new method books, my students can learn at a pace that is comfortable for them, and practice more on their own time! They can have access to a large amount of materials that go step by step, showing them how not just how to read music, but how to sit properly, hold the instrument correctly, and create a beautiful sound.
