In third grade, children are learning the basics of multiplication and learning how to create arrays and models to represent multiplication and division in 100. However, third graders are made up of eight-year-old children. They are still young and need to experience hands-on, creative challenges that allow them to struggle and grow their minds to connect the concrete materials to the abstract equations they are learning to use in mathematics. Learning environments that allow students to access materials that inspire creative building and problem solving, help children connect their curriculum to real-life problems! We are building the minds of our future!
