4th and 5th grade Library Leaders each year, help me select books for their peers, as well as younger students. We talk about what would appeal to a wide audience, and what students are interested in. We are a Leader in Me certified Lighthouse school, signifying that we exhibit the 8 Habits for successful kids. This project is an example of how student leadership can make a difference. The Library Leaders want to get books for our school library that are interesting and fun, and they will get kids excited and engaged in reading.

About my class
