One day I was in some of my students' shoes, in a new country and no speaking the language... it was scary. I want to provide a classroom where my students feel comfortable, inspired and safe. Some days my students have free time for whatever reason and they like to come to my classroom to work on projects, homework or just to be there, in their safe place. I am trying to create an area in my room where my students can do that, like when we go to a coffee place to work or study. I want that for my kids, even if I am working with someone there could still be that "work/relax" area if they need it. I want the ESOL classroom to be their home at school.

About my class
