I would love to give my first grade babies the choice to be active when they can't control their energy. Due to the pandemic, these littles are used to being able to be active whenever they want, and the idea of them being in the classroom focusing for five hours is impossible. A child's success is based on the environment they are learning in. I want to foster not only an engaging and energetic environment, but one that also allows the students to choose their seat based on what they think will allow them to do their best work. I do truly believe the flexible seating will enhance my learning environment. Looking around and seeing my babies focus and be engaged in their work and not having to wonder if they will make it through a paper without losing focus is a dream, please help my dreams come true.
