Our third grade class began using the Wit and Wisdom program this year. As we read the texts provided by the program, the students gain new knowledge and begin to develop a sense of wonder. This leads to student developed questions. We would like to purchase the volume of reading sets for two of the modules to help us expand our background knowledge and seek answers to student developed questions. Students reach higher levels of thinking when they are empowered to ask questions and seek answers that truly matter to them. These texts will help our students gain background knowledge, become more proficient readers, and feel empowered to seek out and share knowledge through discussions and in writing.

About my class
