My students need to have access to communication devices throughout their whole school day and life to learn to say what they want, need, like, dislike, or make comments. All of my students are in need of communication devices to help them learn to meaningfully express themselves and interact with kids and staff in their lives. They are unable to talk and are dependent on adults for help learning new skills and to advocate for them. They are unable to tell adults what they want and need and these devices would help them learn to communicate. They are a wonderful group of kids and show a desire to be able to express themselves.
