These materials will help my students improve mobility within the classrom. Kindergarten students love to move, and giving them options to move as they are completing their work will increase comprehension and engagement. Many Kindergarten students lack core skills, wich can lead to both fine motor and gross motor issues. The flexible seating options that I want to provide in my classroom, such as the stability balls, will help my students develop the core strength that is essential for learning. Students like to have choice in their style of learning. Flexible seating allows them to choose the method and style of learning that is the most comfortable for them, as well as involves them in their own learning process.
