Headphones connected to our Chromebooks will allow students to be more engaged with the many online learning programs that we use in class such as Khan Academy, Reflex Math and Achieve3000. Reducing distractions in the classroom will help all my students concentrate.Concentration allows students to increase focus on the task at hand, create a quiet space free from interruption, and the opportunity to reflect on what they are doing.This will give my students the opportunity to increase learning and achievement. Research has shown that when children are able to concentrate it also increases self-regulation. Self-regulation also contributes to positive social behavior.
