These books will help me train my 8th grade students so that their own leadership skills will be developed, and they will feel confident in their own abilities. This will impact the overall school because they will then be working with their peers and younger students on social issues that can be solved within the student population. They will serve as important role models for other students in the school. Teachers will also have access to the texts in case they want to start a similar group next year. This program can continue to grow, and we can have multiple peer mediators and mentors in the coming school years.

About my class
