My students learn in a variety of ways, and one way can be through technology. Typically students with emotional behavioral disabilities struggle to engage with everyday learning in the classroom. Kids are so tuned into technology nowadays; it is our job to keep up as teachers and diversify our teaching to meet their needs. The iPad will be able to read to my struggling readers, my writers will be able to practice their handwriting in unique ways, and my math kiddos will be learning their facts in a fun new way. The iPad will engage and excite my students in their new program.
