Beebots are a great way for young learners to practice basic concepts while having fun. Using a learning mat, students will code their Beebot to move to letters, words, sums, and more using basic coding skills. For example, I will say, "move your Beebot to the letter than starts the word apple" and they will code the Beebot to move to that letter. In math, I will say, "move your Beebot to the sum of 5+4" and they will move it to 9. They will be learning without even knowing it! Incorporating fun into basic exercises is essential when working with first graders!
