I am dedicated to developing hands-on, student-centered investigations into the workings of the natural world. Be it field studies, or classroom investigations, most materials necessary for engaging science instruction are available just outside my door, or at the nearest grocery or hardware store. However, 21st-century science education requires embedded access to the tools that allow students to explore their questions, gather their data, and engage in the extensive resources available to them through NASA, NOAH, USGS, Pocketlab, and SciStarter, to name a few. Blue-tooth enabled iPads will provide my students with the next level of engagement in their inquiries, expanding their learning opportunities.
