Learning Alive Program is a supplemental reading and math suite that will help my students improve their reading and math skills. I have 24 kindergarten students who will benefit from Learning alive. I have 16 at risk students with reading or math performance that are behind their current grade level. If these students are not given an opportunity to improve their reading and math skills, they are at greater risk of falling further behind their classroom making truancy and dropping out of school more likely.
The objective of the Learning alive Program is to help beginning and at-risk students improve their literacy and math skills so they can perform at grade level and master the basics to succeed in subsequent grades. We expect to see dramatic improvements with most of the students increasing their reading and math ability significantly. The Learning alive Program provides students with access to the advanced technology of augmented reality.
We need help with funding to obtain the software and hardware necessary to equip our classroom with the Learning alive reading and math suite, including a document camera, software, and a digital teacher lesson plan. We also need help with providing the students with the Learning Alive Interactive classroom rug. The rug is vital to augmented reality that really brings the letters and math alive for the students.
We appreciate you taking an interest in helping our students develop their reading and math skills through our new reading and math program!
