Hello, I am the new Head Middle School Coach at K. A.; a low-income Charter School in the Antioch community. Due to past unfortunate situations, the Athletic program has suffered tremendously, however, now as the new Head Coach, I am determined and dedicated to turning this program around and making an impact on each child’s life I come in contact with through the game of basketball. My goal is to take the basketball program to greater heights and major accomplishments by not only teaching the skills of basketball but, also providing mentoring, academic support, and teaching important life lessons and skills to all athletes. In order to make this happen I need your support. With your help this dream of greatness can be accomplished. The mission is to find sponsorship and fundraising activities to help raise funding. Unfortunately, the Athletic program currently doesn’t have the funds to purchase the needs of the team such as jerseys, shorts, balls, nets, and transportation to get to and from games..etc. With your donation, we will be able to receive some much-needed balls and equipment for our team. By funding this project the boys will get a chance to continue their growth as a player and a student athlete. They will see that facing adversity in the midst of a challenge does pay off especially when you put forth the effort and set your mind on a goal you want to accomplish. Every little bit counts so any donation you would like to make is welcomed and greatly appreciated. GO TIGERS!
