This seating will help my students stay focused and become more engaged in the classroom. With varying disabilities in the classroom, it is hard for many students to attain their attention for very long spans at a time. Offering students the chance to stand at an adjustable height desk is a great alternative to traditional seating so they are more productive in class and can be more successful! The desk helps students to stay organized and to self-regulate when an adjustment is required. A classroom filled with these desks allows movement to become a normal part of the day without any disruption to the learning process. These desk allow for more room in the classroom and for independence as students can move from sitting to standing with no disruption to others.
