I would like to provide my students the access to two Chromebooks in the classroom to enhance individualized learning. By utilizing the available extensions which enhance their ability to read and comprehend written text, they will gain the key component of comprehension. By allowing students to orally communicate their thoughts, the connection between what they know and what they can show increases through the use of the Chromebook speech to text features. Through the use of technology, my students will be able speak their ideas into a microphone, then edit their "writing" later with support. Having Chromebook's in the classroom, with their portability, will help encourage those students who have trouble getting their thoughts onto paper to write in a less traditional manner.
