As technology becomes more prominent in education, it is essential that my students have the tools they need to be successful. By using headphones, they will be able to better access online testing, enrichment games, and learning programs. This will allow them to focus and have both math and literacy problems read to them by the computer. My students would also benefit greatly from wobble seats and sensory tools, both of which provide stimulation that helps them to better focus. In turn, they are able to learn and better regulate their bodies. This leads to increased time for academics! With a full day of learning, it is important that I provide the necessary tools for my students to access both social and academic curriculum. Once they can take advantage of technology and relieve their stress and jitters, these second graders will be prepared to take on learning.
