My students have the exciting challenge of learning to express themselves intelligibly and in two languages! The wonderful speech and language students of Pio Pico have a range of expressive language skills, which makes finding versatile materials challenging. My students learn best with creative and materials that contain a strong visual and sensory component. Speech and language skills are most likely to develop quickly when provided in a contextualized and language rich environment. These resources will allow my students to increase their speech and language skills using tangible and contextualized tools. These resources can help this and future generations of Pio Pico students become excellent communicators!
