All of our students at CISD are exceptional! We are a Title I school and many of our students come from homes that do not have access to extra learning opportunities beyond the classroom. We have limited funds to buy STEM kits or machine sets such as the ones in this project. We want to give our students, especially the ones who are in our Gifted and Talented program, access to materials that challenge them and allow them to use their creative thinking and problem-solving skills. We also want to provide them with fun opportunities to work with peers during their GT pullout time. With these materials, we will be able to provide our students with accessibility to many projects that will challenge their brains to think outside of the box.
