Educating students is different and harder now. Kindergarten students have unique challenges today. They have to social distance and worry about getting sick. Many talk about their grandparents or other family members who are sick with COVID-19. The pandemic worries them. I would love to offer alternative seating in my classroom to let my young students have the option to move while still sitting and learning. I believe this will be a good outlet for their stress and anxiety that is a result of the challenging times we live in.
