The materials provided will be an essential part of my students' learning. They will be able to use the manipulatives requested to gain essential knowledge in math, as well as apply it to other areas of learning throughout their life. Math is such a crucial part of a persons' life, and hands-on learning is one of the best ways to gain the knowledge needed! They will be able to tell time, count money, fractions, and learn about different parts of numbers throughout the materials we are requesting. Living in a high poverty area, we are limited on what we can order. I am also new to teaching 3rd grade, so any and all donations are greatly appreciated to help with the success of my students'.
