These materials are to help ensure the classroom is clean and welcoming for the 7th and 8th grade English Language Learners who are new to the United States. These students spend three hours per day in this classroom as they learn language, literacy, and civics. Any space that is colorful, neat, and interesting is good for our students, so as I set up this classroom in my first year of teaching, some basic supplies would go a very long way. Thank you for considering this donation. I promise to use all resources carefully and well and to do my best to help newcomers feel welcomed.
