Being a young bilingual learner is challenging work! Within my dual language classroom my 39 first graders have few options as to where/how they would like to sit during their instruction. It is so important that students are comfortable within their classroom. I hope that their classroom is a space where they feel comfortable, and is a space that they are excited to be in each day. Learning two languages is very challenging, and it is essential that the students have comfortable learning spaces while reading, writing, sitting in small group instruction or listening during whole group instruction. With your generous donations, hopefully we can provide the kids with a variety of seating options to best support their learning!
