A color printer will allow my students to analyze art, artifacts, and relics of the past in order to see how those societies evolved and shaped our world today. Color images are vital to engaging students in the study of the past by bringing the images alive off of the page for them to analyze. Through this analysis they will be able to generate questions and guide our instruction as they come to understand the rich history of the United States. Through art and artifact analysis students develop awareness of historical context, develop critical thinking skills, enhance their observation and interpretive skills, and develop conceptual learning techniques.

About my class
