My high school students are the best I have ever taught. They work hard despite not having much. Technology is definitely lacking. Classrooms are falling apart and the building needs a new roof. For those who show up on a daily basis, willing to learn, then they deserve to be educated based on their personal learning styles--not just through lecture.
