I have been tasked with setting up and running a TV studio at Hamtramck High School in order for my new students to be able to do a daily TV broadcast. This is a brand new program at the school. At the moment, the school has one old studio camera, one microphone, a green screen, and zero budget. The kids need some basic equipment to help get this program up and running properly! My students are mostly Yemeni, Bengali, & Bosnian refugees. They are super great kids who have been through a lot and deserve more than a single camera and a green screen. It's a Title 1 school with 90% of students on free and reduced lunch so fundraising within the district is not an option. We have a great room available to use to set up an amazing studio...we just need some basic equipment to get started.
