My students are nonverbal with moderate-severe cognitive delays. They have unique learning styles and need a variety of materials. We are requesting books, toys and organizational tools to support their special needs and unique learning styles. We are also requesting sand and water table, sensory play materials, light table. The materials you supply will help these students learn basic skills including vocabulary, concepts, following directions, and how to communicate through play. Socially, students are learning how to take turns, make requests, follow a routine, etc. They need a variety of toys, books, arts and crafts, and fine motor activities to teach these basic concepts and skills. I would like to set up a variety of stations and task boxes for students to be able to learn these skills. However, we lack supplies. Please help us!!
