Have you ever wanted to go back to sitting in the chairs in your grade school classrooms? Would you have opted for a more comfortable option given the choice? Flexible seating provides students with the comfort they deserve throughout the day. My students need a comfortable learning environment with various seating options that will meet their individual sensory needs and foster learning. Giving students the opportunity to choose their seating really puts them in charge of their learning. Dry-erase desktops allow fluid thinking and collaborative work with their peers. Doodling and drawing ideas on their tables can spark creativity and boost both enthusiasm and confidence in learning. Providing these things will maximize learning in big ways.
