I work with a terrific group of 7th and 8th grade students in one of Baltimore's most challenged schools. Last year we were chosen to become a "transformation school," which means that our students are finally getting all of the attention and instruction that they deserve. Unfortunately, many of these bright young men and women are already several years behind where they should be academically. Together, we are working hard every day to bring them up to at least grade level standards.

About my class
