This comfortable seating will allow my students a comfy place to read independently or with partners. These couches will get them off of the floor and allow them the space they need to stay focused and on their way to becoming independent readers. This new seating option will also allow them to be seen from anywhere in the room which allows me to monitor them more easily. My students are still young and they need school to be a warm, inviting, safe place to come each day so that they have the opportunity to thrive. Comfortable, flexible seating allows those who need to move around a bit more or be in less structured seating option the ability to place more of their focus on learning.

About my class
