Not every student is able to express themselves through words. I aim to help students understand how their voices can be heard through art. This school year I will be running a competitive art club that focuses on social outreach and social impact. Many of my students have difficult lives outside of school and some struggle in general areas of study. Through the medium of art, those students who are shy in class are now able to shine and show off their talents. All the while, also entering into competitions to help demonstrate how children are a part of social justice. I hope to give more confidence and a stronger sense of self to students who need it. They will be entering their artwork into competitions where they can really show their stuff!
