The materials, such as beads and dice, that I’m getting for my students will help provide endless possibilities for them to explore, learn, and having fun. The students will use the materials to interact with peers and teachers as well as using them for many projects that will be happening in our classroom. They will represent their creativity in many different ways by how they use the requested items. Some of these materials could also support students’ problem solving skills which is very important for the this young age. The students will learn their mathematics skills, fine motors, and logic and reasoning. Also, the students will be able to take some of their creations home to promote home-school activities with the families.

About my class
