With these drum sticks, my students will learn how to play rhythmic patterns on the buckets. They will get to see how ordinary things in life can be turned into a musical instrument. I am excited to see the joy in their faces when a rhythm clicks and they are able to play it with ease. I teach them difficult rhythms in a fun way and show how easy it is to learn to play the music they hear every day. At the end of the day, if I can put a smile on one child's face because they were able to play the drums, then I feel like I have accomplished my job.
