The large carpet will be placed in the front of the classroom and used as a gathering place during lessons and sharing time. This will be a place where my students have comfort while learning. It will provide the students with a fun way to learn their letters, numbers and colors. Flexible seating will provide the students the opportunity to sit attentively for periods at a time. It helps with concentration and feeling safe in the classroom but also helps students be more engaged. It allows the students to choose how to learn while being independent learners and thinkers. Flexible seating will also motivated to learn.
