Everyone needs some motivation to reach the goals set by schools for high achievement. The materials and supplies I am requesting will be placed in our classroom prize basket. Students will have the opportunity to earn the prizes when they demonstrate our core values and other taught and practiced skills. At Tindley Genesis, we have LEADER (leadership, excellence, attitude, diligence, effort, and respect) and ARTS (ambition, responsibility, tenacity, scholarship) values. Scholars work extremely hard at Tindley Genesis and having a basket full of prizes will allow for me to implement the PBIS (Positive-Based Incentive System) required by my school with fidelity. This prize basket will keep students focused and motivated to reach our end-of-year goals by rewarding them little by little for the small goals they reach throughout the year.
