In my classroom, there is a wide variety of student levels in math and literacy. One way that I work to meet the needs of every student is by working with them in small groups as they rotate through stations. When students are not at the "Teacher Table," they are working on independent work, or small group work with other students on their level. Math and literacy games would be a great way to engage students in learning, while also targeting the specific learning needs of my students. As a first year teacher, I do not yet have a collection of games or supplies to support learning. I would love to give my student the opportunity to learn through play and focus on skills they need. These products align with standards taught in class and I will assign each group a game a week that works on skills at their level. I will teach them a new skill in small group and then they will practice through independent work and hopefully games. Thank you for your consideration in helping my students.
