Third graders like to move! Some students like sitting in traditional chairs and tables; others like sitting on the floor. The items I've chosen will help my students be able to focus and work longer as they build their stamina for longer periods of learning. Alternative seating choices are important for many learners. Not everyone learns the same way. Comfortable floor seating with a back to add body support will keep many students more engaged in their work. Wobbly stools will help others "move" while working without distracting others. They will be so excited to learn in ways that fit their needs.
