Sometimes during the course of instruction, additional resources may be needed in order to address the unique needs of students. Unfortunately, with no printer in my office, and limitations on the copy machine, this becomes a daunting task. With 50+ staff in the building, the process to print a document or make a copy is lengthy. Additionally, the copy machine is often broken, so I frequently cannot generate resources and supplemental materials to support the diverse needs of students. One of the most frustrating parts of being a coach is not having the ability to make copies when you need them. As a result, I am asking for a printer and ink cartridges in order to be able to print student work, supplemental materials, and to share data reports with students and their parents. This printer would help facilitate increased learning by putting more resources into the hands of my students. Resources that they otherwise would not get due to restrictions to copies or simply not having the ability to generate them. It will also aid in differentiating work for the students because I will be able to print more resources that can meet students' individual needs, instead of having to purely prioritize the entire class.
