These items will create a classroom library that will continue to instill a love for reading and enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. I want to create a classroom library that is a place that my students really enjoy. I read on the carpet to them, they complete work there, and they read independently! Every student book that is placed in my library is treated with love and care, and students are thankful for the opportunities to read. Now I want to give them a spot where they can go let their reading soar. Students will be able to choose books, and come relax at the library, which will help them continue to enjoy independent reading time. The couch and bean bag will allow them flexible seating to sit back and relax. The bookshelves will allow them to see all the adventures that they can choose to embark upon with reading and the twinkle lights and canopy will create a sense of privacy and enchantment that will allow their imaginations to take flight.
