These materials will help students sit comfortably at guided reading and have a library to go to in our classroom. Guided reading helps teachers meet each individual student’s needs. Currently we have big, bulky adult chairs that the students have a hard time sitting in and moving. We spend a great deal of time in small groups and at our guided reading table. We work hard every day to develop early literacy skills. A library shelf that helps kindergarteners see the front cover would help little hands choose books and help clean up easily. Students would have a cozy spot to share books with a friend or two. Thank you so much!
