I plan on using the requested sensory items to equip my classroom as a place in which students can feel free to be themselves. I want students to understand who they are, that they are perfectly and wonderfully made, and that with a little exploration, we can tour the classroom to find and utilize the tools in order to support their sensory needs so that they can give 100% of themselves to learning. By providing students with sensory tools in the classroom, they will: -Improve concentration -Increase focus -Encourage self-advocacy skills -Self regulate behaviors -Improve self-confidence -Engage in learning -Regularly participate in class discussions regarding the content being taught. -Increase memory and recall ability.

About my class
