My students come into math class excited about the new day. I want to provide them with an inviting environment that encourages them to flow through the classroom with ease. They come into class with a mathematical task to complete, followed by a math lesson, the rest of the period is different forms of ongoing math review. In math, ongoing review is crucial for retention on skills learned. The stools will provide seating at different tables that students will travel to during their math review. The stools will offer an alternate type of seating from the normal student chair, they are also compact and will be easily moved out of the way for the flow of the classroom. The chair socks will help offer a quieter, more comfortable environment for all learners. It takes many different types of tools, including seating, to make a classroom environment that encourages learning!
