I have students who struggle to sit through the day. We use computers to enhance our math and reading skills. So many struggle to sit in their chair and stay focused. With the Kindle they can find a comfy spot and stay engaged and learn. During reading groups, they can grab a kindle and find a place in the room that will allow them to work in needed skills in reading. During math, my struggling students who need to build math fluencies can be engaged while other groups are going in the room. With so many students of such varying abilities having a device that they can move around with and still be learning will make a difference.
