These materials will support a learning environment that is specially tailored to my special needs students. The sensory and hands-on materials will provide opportunities to increase fine motor skills, reading comprehension, and speaking/listening skills. My students will benefit from the adapted scissors and writing slant board to improve basic fine motor skills. The liquid floor tiles and sensory item will help my students who are easily overstimulated. By providing different types of learning experiences for my students, they will be more likely to succeed. These hands-on materials will help engage my students, as well as prepare them for kindergarten. By using the materials in our project, our classroom will be able to provide the opportunities to learn necessary foundational skills that will help our special needs children succeed. Please help us provide these opportunities to our deserving kids!
